Sep-09-11  Robed.Bishop: <ProjectR: Im suffering from chess block and its annoying the hell out of me,i couldn't beat a monkey right now..>.

Great line. I have days like that too.

And hey, I'm not mad at you. Rant away...

<Wyatt Gwyon> Maybe AJ is his/her chess teacher.

Sep-09-11  TheFocus: I'm just glad he didn't say <spank a monkey>.
Sep-09-11  DrMAL: They were complained to by numerous users including myself repeatedly several months ago (around the these the few people committed their usual illegalities toward me). This has all been documented including the one reply they gave, suggesting the IGNORE option. I agree it is an excellent resource but I cannot agree it has been at all responsible in simply removing those tho have repeatedly violated US law. Your "blunderbuss" comment is cute but it is inconsistent with a person who I once posted as being mature. I have no need nor desire to "coached" by you <rilkefan> if you with to continue to do so I will no longer be looking at them. Hope not, your posts have usually been helpful to me (and likely others).
Sep-09-11  ProjectR: <Drmal>...what posts are you referring to ?? Is it the one's by certain users here claiming your not a master,or outing your real identity (allegedly) ?? Please say if im mistaken but il tell you now that legally you dont have a leg to stand on...Iv been accused of some ridiculously criminal(untrue) things by a certain user and the posts are still here too,but luckily no one believes a word that person says otherwise if it were true,id be in jail and rightly so !! Anyway i recently registered to FICS and searched through a few users here handle's to see if they were registered under the same handle there etc..some were, including yours so i checked your games out, along with your rating ! I have to say that your play is not much higher than mine (please dont take offense at that as i consider myself to be a total genius LOL) I dont know how a rating on FICS compares to a FIDE or USCF rating, but its far far from Master status... By the way,i dont agree with anyone revealing your true ID,thats your buisness...

FSR: <DrMAL>'s ignorance obviously extends to U.S. law. I too would be fascinated to see examples of some of these "MANY!" illegal posts. Even more interesting would be learn on what basis the aforesaid twit proposes to hold chessgames.com liable for them. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sectio....
Sep-09-11  DrMAL: <Robed.Bishop: <LMAJ> I agree you have a right to your opinions and I don't dispute your right to post them> I agree with this as well, I personally took exception to the manner in which he insulted others who disagreed with him and after he was finally terribly rude to me, I put in on IGNORE. Yesterday, when looking at Bronstein vs F Palmiotto, 1958 where he was still temporarily off IGNORE (from the ridiculous events of that day) I posted an invite for him to do the analysis he was alluding to, showing interest in his results. Essentially, giving him another chance hoping he would not be terribly arrogant and rude yet again. He had me on IGNORE as a reaction so I erased it. If AJ can find it in himself to be able to refrain from being arrogant and insulting (particularly when shown to be dead wrong) his contributions otherwise have some value at times and I, for one, would be interested in reading them, possibly learning from him.

ROFLMAO! I bet he not really a USCF Master at all.

Sep-09-11  DrMAL: Same for <perfidious> and others of his "team" as <I play for the Fred> put it in his "forum" (no longer visible put saved to PDF). I their case a very SINCERE AND EMPHATIC PUBLIC APOLOGY AND PROMISE TO BEHAVE AS ADULTS is, of course obviously in order and, if conducted (SINCERELY) with a change in behavior, their posts may have some limited contribution as well. It would help CG and its members in general if this happened but, in all honesty, I very much doubt it ever would. These members clearly have some sort of underlying pathology that makes this out of the question.
Sep-09-11  DrMAL: <ProjectR> If interested, you are of course welcome to go through my 1300+ posts, best to start at the beginning since what I am referring to happened early on. I am not interested in discussing or responding to this topic further.
Sep-09-11  ProjectR: <Drmal> im not interested one bit in your real identity as im sure most others here arne't either,so again please dont take offense as my last comment was mainly aimed at showing that your not a master, and unless your in your early teens with much time to improve, never will be !! Iv nothing personal against you at all...

All my comments are protected under US law in accordance with "goldsby's shaver"...(similar to occams razor, but TOTAL _____...just fill in the blank with a word of your choice)

Sep-09-11  rogge: Interesting stuff.

Has anyone else observed a positive correlation between how obnoxious a member is and his propensity to (a) complain about others' behavior, (b) instruct them as to how to improve their behavior, and (c) suggest that those persons are mentally ill?

Sep-09-11  DrMAL: <ProjectR> You seem to have taken offense to my post, that is your prerogative, none was intended nor given. Insofar as my chess abilities are concerned I simply do not care what your opinions are and I feel no need whatsoever to prove otherwise to you. Writing the inflammatory comment that you did indeed write <my last comment was mainly aimed at showing that your not a master, and unless your in your early teens with much time to improve, never will be !!> does indeed show you have, for some unknown and unreasonable cause, something indeed personal against me. I could care less. And I will never be looking at or responding to such ridiculous insults from you again. Your statements clearly fit into the sort of person you accuse me (without slightest cause) of being. As such, you serve as another example of a user on here whose contributions include needless "trolling" reflect on YOURSELF. GOODBYE.
Sep-09-11  ProjectR: Well i must have missed something, because <FSR> points out that the good doctors rating is 1332....so in fact iv got 300 points on him,and iv played 60 or 70 rated games thus far...told you all im a total genius lol
Sep-09-11  shach matov: <TheFocus> It's all good; although some of these pages look like a cg.com version of the Jerry Springer show (although without the benefit of nudity). In contrast the thread of Einstein, the greatest physicist in history, gets one post every few months. I guess it's a reflection of modern non-culture... Mind you I am not at all suggesting moving all of these AJ related posts to the Einstein's page:)

I prostrate myself in awe before the god-like ProjectR.

Sep-09-11  ProjectR: <DrMal>....Sir,i have nothing personal against you, please believe me..How could i ? Im sure if i were to post im a master and people then checked my games out and realised i wasn't,id be called out by everybody who uses this fine chess site... I actually enjoy and respect some of your game analysis, but its all done by an engine.. This is my problem with the World v GM games,as i think if we're working as a unit to defeat a GM that its possible without the help of an engine..some people who take part in them games have achieved a high rating and status themselves, plus its fun to pit your wits against a GM..You dont get many shots at it,so to me using an engine is cheating....when playing anyone, never mind a GM.

What satisfaction can you get out of beating someone, anyone with an engine ??

And for the record i think you have a right to anonymity..

Sep-09-11  ProjectR: <FSR> Just dont expect an audience with me,as you would not enjoy the experience !
Sep-09-11  rilkefan: <Well i must have missed something, because <FSR> points out that the good doctors rating is 1332..>

You missed a number of things, such as the, well, number of games involved.

Sep-09-11  TheFocus: <ProjectR> Now you are on <DrMal>'s Iggie list. Are you also on <AJ>'s list too?
Sep-09-11  ProjectR: <rikefan> check the games for yourself, they arne't the games of any master..

In comparison, goldsby's FICS lightening rating is touching 2000 !! And we all know he's a master because he tells us so....often lol Seriously though, all the masters on this site could maintain a massive gain on 1350,and your forgetting his opponents were between 1000 to 1800 (and thats being generous,as i think they're lower, cant remember, ask <FSR>) ! Surely a master could beat them players even granting them odds ?? But having said that im not much better, and dont proclaim to be...and when i say im a genius im obviously joking <FSR> !

Sep-09-11  Maatalkko: <ProjectR> I see you haven't been on this site very long. Sometimes, people here get offended by something and start making empty threats and silly arguments.

I made the same mistake about six months back trying to reasonably persuade <Goldsby> that Nakamura didn't use a computer against him(?!). Then I was shocked and outraged that <Goldsby> made up fictitious "emails" and anecdotes to prove his point. But that's really just how this website goes.

<DrMAL> may or may not be lying about being a master. You can't really resolve that or any other cg.com argument because we're all just screennames and avatars. It's a boxing match between ghosts.

Pages featuring Goldsby games usually devolve into Jerry Springer type stuff. Being familiar with his style, his gauche and strident <<AJ> SOUNDS OFF!!!!> page didn't surprise me. Quality entertainment, I hope he adds to it.

If you don't get a kick out of these petty squabbles, then stick to functional areas of the website. If you do, have at it, nobody's getting sued. These discussions do get old though.
