Kibitzer's Corner
Jan-17-05  InspiredByMorphy: This game has an interesting finish. 29.Nf1 is the beginning of a new and unexpected plan from white.
Jan-17-05  Saruman: 16.Rf6 should be investigated.
May-27-08  screwdriver: I like 16.Rf6 too. It constrains black from advancing and really gives white a good spacial advantage. White can just double the rooks on his 17th move if he likes.
Jan-23-10  Xeroxx: Hilarios game.
May-28-16  Christoforus Polacco: I like this plan with 16.Rf6. For example: 16.Rf6 Rae8 17.Bc4 and next 18.Raf1 <29.Nf1 is the beginning of a new and unexpected plan from white.> Not exactly... Plan has started from 23.Kh2 to protect pawn 'h5' so as to be able to free white knight. And I think that black lost this game by 36th move. But anyway black's situation was difficult. For example: 36...Rgf8 37.Rcf1 Kh8 38.g4 Kh7 39.g5 hg+ 40.K:g5 Kg7 and threatens 41.Ng4 and 42.Ne3
