Mar-31-05  IT4LICO: This is very strange opening, no similar games in the database...
Mar-31-05  Phoenix: Wow, I initially thought this was a simul game while skimming through it. Gligoric really took him apart. I wouldn't be surprised if we see the position after 16...Qxd6 as puzzle of the day.
Mar-31-05  Kangaroo: Lisitsyn - Botvinnik, 1930 or around. The correct defense would be based on 4. ... e5 or 4. ... Nf6 and then e7-e5.

  plang: 5..e5 was new.

Very nice game by Glogoric.

Kostic was a GM who won the Yugoslav championship twice and the US Open once.

Interesting that Gligoric did not include this game in his anthology.

Fusilli: Black offers some uncoordinated insolent play in the opening against a world class grandmaster, and the world class grandmaster makes puree out of him.
