Mar-12-06  sneaky pete: 18.Bh6 .. is a very nice move. I also like the way white keeps playing for mate, when 21.Bxg7 .. winning a piece would have been sufficient. The old masters always kept the ultimate purpose of the game in mind.

If 17... N(h)xf4 I think white continues 18.Rxf4 Rxf4 19.Qd7 .. exploiting the pin on Ne6. Then if 19... Re4 20.Qf7+ Kh8 21.Qf6+ Kg8 22.Rf1 .. and if 19... Rf6 20.Qe8+ .. looks winning.

  Gypsy: <12...Bxa3?>, I think.
Jun-11-17  clement41: 18 Bh6! is so pleasing
Dec-19-20  Messiah: Commenting before someone starts submitting horrible puns (and eventually making it to the GOTD with ease), exploiting the word 'Burden'.
