Kibitzer's Corner
Jul-05-07  Morphyisgod: the first 8 moves of this game give me a headache
Nov-07-08  patzer of patzers: Actually, it kind of goes on through move 11... and i just happened to be thinking along those lines when i looked at this game.
Aug-02-09  WhiteRook48: wait 1844 is modern?
Nov-21-17  RKnight: Playing the Petrov against... Petrov? No wonder Petrov won.
Nov-21-17  WorstPlayerEver: Funny, SF thinks it's pretty much equal until 14... Ne7

14... Be7 15. Nxc6 bxc6 16. Rxc6 Rb8 17. Nc7 Bf5 18. Rxf6 Bxf6 19. Qc2

-----

17. Qb3 and then f4-f5 would have been devastating.

Jan-18-23  generror: Not that funny that SF thinks it's equal until 14...Ne7, because the position is highly symmetrical until that move -- even perfectly so after the 10th and 11th moves. It actually looks nicely weird with all those figures clustered in the center :)
