  MissScarlett: The current score (echoing Britbase) is incorrect from <27.Kf1 Be8 28.b4 axb4 29.axb4 Na6 30.Ne6 Rg8 31.Nxc7 Nxc7 32.d6 Qe6 33.Qxc7 Bh5 34.Qc4 Qg6 35.Qd5 Ra3 36.Rc7 f4 37.Rd1 Bg4 38.d7 Rd8 39.h5 Qxh5 40.e6 Qxd5 41.Rxd5 Bxe6 42.Rd1 Re3 43.Kf2 Kg8 44.b5 Kf7 45.Nd4 Rxd7 46.Rxd7+ Bxd7 47.Nc6 Bxc6 48.bxc6 Rc3 0-1>.

<27.Kg1> was played, leaving the f1-square free for <36.Rf1>. Instead, <36.R-B1> became <36.Rc7> with further confusion.

Sources such as the <Sheffield Daily Telegraph> of August 30th, the <Western Daily Press> of September 2nd, and the <Field> of September 3rd have the score as <27. Kg1 Be8 28. b4 axb4 29. axb4 Na6 30. Ne6 Rg8 31. Nxc7 Nxc7 32. d6 Qe6 33. Qxc7 Bh5 34. Qc4 Qg6 35. Qd5 Ra3 36. Rf1 f4 37. Rcd1 Bg4 38. d7 Rd8 39. h5 Qxh5 40. e6 Qxd5 41. Rxd5 Bxe6 42. Rd6 Re3 43. Rfd1 Kg8 44. b5 Kf7 45. Nd4 Rxd7 46. Rxd7+ Bxd7 47. Nc6 Bxc6 48. bxc6 Rc3 0-1>.

Note that the <Field> gives <42. R to Q sq>, but as the next move is <43. KR to Q sq>, it's clearly a typo. The December 1904 <BCM> copied the game from the <Field>, but introduced its own typo with <36. R-B7>.
