This, the last game I played with Zukertort, was dashed off at Pine Banks, partly in the Tower and partly in the House, on the 13th July, 1883, the day after the Thorpe Garden Party, during which the grounds of Sunny Hill, Belle Vue, Holly Lodge, and Pine Banks were thrown open for the benefit of the Shipwrecked Fishermen and Mariners' Royal Benevolent Society and two other charitable purposes, and at which Dr. Zukertort gave a performance in exhibition of his great powers in simultaneous Chess.
