Benzol: <whiteshark> & <Archives> have this game in their repective collections on the 1909 tournament at St Petersburg but was it actually played in that tournament? I know that a lot of information in certain fields can be mistaken but can someone with the 1909 St Petersburg tournament book confirm or otherwise if this is so.

keypusher: <benzol> According to Lasker's tournament book this is the St. Petersburg game:

Znosko-Borovsky vs L Forgacs, 1909

It's curious, if the cg database is accurate these opponents met each other three times in tournaments and drew in under 20 moves each time.

Benzol: <keypusher> Scott, thanks. I also find it curious that both <whiteshark> and <Archives> have mistakenly included this game in their collections on the tournament. I wonder if I'll find any more anomalies as I'm updating the tournament rounds. In case you're wondering I'm using Chess Stars book on Lasker's games for the round and date information about this.
Jul-30-12  whiteshark: DONE. <Thanks a ton for this hint, <Benzol>! >

(Wow, what a great service from your side!! I'd barely ever have noticed it.)
