Apr-12-06  dakgootje: overal a nice game, where black plays his own variation. and of course white is totally lost in the final position. Strange no1 has kibtized yet on this game.

  keypusher: No, it's not the least bit strange. Much finer games than this have gone unkibitzed. Check out the percentage of kibitzed games on this site sometime. It's quite low.

If you find a good unkibitzed game, then rejoice in your good fortune and share the game with others. I wouldn't have looked at this one if not for your kibitz, so thanks! But it's silly to wonder (aloud) why no one else has kibitzed about it before.

(Sorry, this is a pet peeve of mine, obviously.)

Apr-12-06  dakgootje: <Much finer games than this have gone unkibitzed.> true, but i was under the impression when i sometimes scrolled through the game collections, people often had collections like 'Mr. XYZ plays opening ..., variation XYZ' or something, and thus that those people first looked who had an opening names after themselves and then looked for that particulat player playing his\her own opening. And as Taimanov plays his own opening here i expected there would be some comments.
Apr-12-06  sharkbenjamin: 38...Bxe4 with the threat of 39...Bxg2+ 40.Kxg2 Qf3+ 41.Kg1 Nh3++.
