  Ron: Why not 23. ... gxh4?
Because 24. Qc3+ Nf6(only move) 25. Qxf6+ Kh7 26. Qxh4
Mar-14-07  Pi Guy: <Why not 23. ... gxh4?
Because 24. Qc3+ Nf6(only move) 25. Qxf6+ Kh7 26. Qxh4>

What's wrong with 26. Nh5? If 26...Qxh5, then 27. Qxe7+ Kh8 (27... Kg6 28. Qf7#) 28. Qf8+ Kh7 29. Qg8#

26...Nf5 (the only other way to avoid immediate checkmate without losing the queen),loses the knight and leaves black with the same problem.

Nov-27-07  nimh: Rybka 2.4 mp, AMD X2 2.01GHz, 10 min per move, threshold 0.33.

Von Kolisch 2 mistakes:
14.Ne1 0.06 (14.Qc3 0.66)
24.Qf2 1.52 (24.Rf1 2.32)

Anderssen 7 mistakes:
10...Kh8 0.32 (10...Na5 -0.05)
19...Nh7 1.01 (19...f4 -0.07)
20...f4 1.61 (20...fxe4 1.02)
27...c5 2.90 (27...Kg7 1.58)
28...Rb7 3.54 (28...Ng8 2.81)
42...Kg6 4.14 (42...Ne7 0.00)
46...Nd4 6.39 (46...Rxe4 5.06)

Dec-11-14  Knight13: The move 9... h6 weakens g6 and makes it a bit easier for White to play Nh4-f5 (if he so chooses). 9... Bg4 or 9... Na5 is better, in my opinion.
