Jan-11-18  kramnov: The creation of this opening and it is important to note that black has a successful record at this very beginning!
Jan-11-18  ChessHigherCat: At the end it looks like white is making the worst possible moves just to get it over with: 28. Rb8??? Black can just take the rook with the knight or rook and either way is okay! Why not 28. Rb7 Nb4 29. Rxb4?

29. e4 looks like the worst move on the board. 27... Kd8 looks like a joke, too, and on move 31, instead of NxR he leaves the knight en prise with Qa6! Were they just joking around?

15. e4 looks better.

Jan-11-18  ChessHigherCat: <WPE> The first part of the game is a masterpiece but starting with move 28. Rb8, white's moves are really the worst moves on the board, much worse then just moving the pieces at random. It would take a suicidal master to find those moves.
Jan-11-18  ChessHigherCat: I think it must be a sort of inside joke like white is saying "I know it's completely hopeless" and then makes the worst possible moves with a laugh, and Euwe's final move is made in the same spirit.
