Kibitzer's Corner
Dec-16-05  Brown: Ivanchuk's take on the Semi-Slav Marshall Gambit. 18.Qxg7 must have been a shock, as well as 26.Bg4+
Aug-18-06  fevered cheek: i think bareevs queen should have gone to b6 instead of f4 on move 21. maybe followed by ...Nc7. a great tactical victory for ivanchuk.

position after 21.Rd3

Aug-10-07  alexandrovm: An incredible attack by Ivanchuck a such a short age!
Feb-26-21  Gaito: 32....Ke5 33.Re8+ Be6 34.R(or Q)xe6#. Or else: 32...Ke7 33.Re8+ Kd7 34.Qe6#.
Feb-26-21  Gaito: Both Dreev and Ivanchuk are of the same age. Dreev was born on January 30, 1969, and Ivanchuk was born on March 18, 1969, so they both were 15 or 16 years old when this game was played. Probably 16 years of age.
