Kibitzer's Corner
Apr-05-09  A.G. Argent: By the time you get to Marco's 28...Qd4, his assault on his enemy King is great fun to play out. Relentless and fluid. If 39.Kxb2 then 39...Rb8+ and White has to white flag it. Options were nil to none. Mates abound.

Or if

41.Kf2 Rg2+
42.Kf3 Qh3+
43.Kf4 Qf3#
Maybe another one but I quit. What a great tournament that was. Incredible field. Reinfeld wrote a book about it. Marshall tore it up. 13 out of 15 points; undefeated - 11 wins, 4 draws. Marco was fourth behind Janowski and Lasker who were tied for 2nd/3rd.
