  Honza Cervenka: 23...Bd7 was a slip, which could help white to come back into the game after 24.Ne2 with idea 24...d4 25.Bc4+ Kh8 26.Rb3 b5 27.Bxb5! cxb5 28.f4 ±. 23...Be6 was correct.

Here today and probably enjoying the speculation.

Jan-27-24  Captain Hindsight: Better would have been 13. Bf4.

Jan-27-24  Allderdice83: 25. Kh1?? is an unbelievable blunder. Perhaps White was thinking 25 ... Bxe3?? 26. fxe3 when the knight is trapped. Stockfish suggests 25. Rd1 Be6 26. Red3 Rf8 27. Rd4 Be5 28. Ra4 (-0.91).

25.Rd1 Qg7 26.Red3 Qh6 looks much better for black. Well, 26.Red3 is not forced but what else? 26.Ne4 Bxe3 27.fxe3 Nxf3+ 28.Bxf3 dxe4 29.Bxe4 Re8 30.Rd4 Re5 leaves black with extra Pawn and clearly better position.
