Mar-17-04  bumpmobile: What would have been white's response if, instead of 14...♕xd7, 14...♕xf4 15. ♘xb6 axb6, opening up the file for the rook and threatening ♕c1+?
Mar-17-04  caballos2: I think with 7...Be6 black lost way too much time. I play this line as black myself and I always take the knight on f3, thus eliminating a major attacking piece in the king's gambit. After Nf6 and o-o black has a sound though slightly passive position. Certainly playable!
Oct-05-06  prinsallan: 15... 0-0 !?
Im just curious. Why castle kingside when all blacks defensive resources are on the queen-side? I mean, White is evidently much stronger on the kingside and is ready to castle queenside (forced). This strengthens white even more on the kingside.
