May-18-07  WarmasterKron: Lovely Bird from Nimzo here. 26.Bxd7! was a wicked zwischenzug, the bishop being immune to capture or else 27.h6 marches the pawn to victory, supported by the dark-squared bishop.

Kmoch goes mad at the end with 31...Rxc2+?? and 32...Ne3+??, with the dark-squared bishop dealing another dose of pain, but may well have been lost anyway.

May-18-07  Timex: Kmoch needs to learn about glasses!

GrahamClayton: The White bishops totally dominate the board.
Jan-26-20  HarryP: Soltis, in Winning with 1.f4, says better for White at move 12 is "12.Be2, recommended by Raymond Keene." He goes on to say, "Another method of proceeding is 12.h4 followed by Bh3."
Apr-05-21  Botvinnikula: One of my favorite examples of the Bird being used at the master level, beautiful use of the bishops too. You can certainly tell that it was Nimzowitsch playing.

fredthebear: It looks like pawn grabbing with 10...Nxc3 was best in this bishops vs knights game.
