  Phony Benoni: Tne tournament tailender missed a couple of chances against the tournament weinner.First, after <38.Kh1>:

Simply 38..Bc4, planning...Bd5 wins for Black. Even if White can fends off the attack,, Black's material advantage will win.

Instead, after <38...Rf2? 39.Qa8+ Kg7 40.Rg1+>

It looked as though Black was dead, but <40...Bg5!> survives. after <41.rXG5+ kh6> the king's attack on the rook means there is no mate.
