Aug-26-10  David2009: Flohr vs E Eliskases, 1936 is a fine win by Eliskases (Black against his nemesis Salo Flohr). Prior to this game Eliskases had scored +0=1-5:

In the diagram position Eliskases (Black, to play) throws caution to the winds with 21...Bg4!? (more prudent, and good, is 21...Bd7) and wins in fine style with a positional Queen sacrifice after 22 Qxc6.

  Mateo: <David2009> I am really surprised by your comment. Eliskases play looks more like bluff than fine play. Very unusual for him by the way. 23.Rc3? was an awful move in a winning position.
