Aug-25-08		dabearsrock1010: towards the 35th moves of the game while white's king appears more exposed black's king is the real glaring weakness on the board which eventually decides the game. The refutation of 37...e5 is stunning and is a result of the king's weakness.

Be curious to find out which move(s) took the longest to play, for both sides.

I've never heard of any human sitting down 1on1 against a high level computer ( fritz10 rybka or chessmaster10's chessmaster) and beating it ( I have heard of fritz6 being beaten by Anand but that was 6 not 10!)...now I hear this guy beat Hydra? A comp I never heard of...but is supposedly stronger than rybka zappa etc? You got to be kidding me! This was correspondence chess & EVERYONE knows comps slow down after that period of time (which is why his analysis is better than Hydra's moves) only in a sit down "OTB" type match like 2hours each Nickel v.Hydra NO COMP ASSISTANCE could he say "I beat Hydra" Hydra would tear him to shreds! Cuz he ain't smart enough to beat Hydra and he knows it!!!

Chessmaster is not even mentioned at high level computer games, and playing correspondence chess generally isn't regarded as cheating. Had GMAN followed a computers moves, he would almost certainly have lost, as Hydra was more powerful than any other chess computer at the time.

Could GMAN, for that matter? I believe that the time control for the engine was 6 hours per move or something like that - I would want to place the same control on the engine for the sake of repeating the experiment.
