  Sally Simpson: If you just go through this game on here all you have done is look at the menu.

To get the full meal you need Tarrasch' 300 and Reinfeld's book on Tarrasch. A double course!

Tarrasch can win a piece with 18.f4 but Black gets counter play. Instead 18.Nf3 and White keeps the squeeze on. Tarrasch plays out the rest of the game in instructive mode. A good game enhanced fully with notes by both writers.

Dec-03-23  sudoplatov: French Exchange and Petroff transpose into each other like the Slav or Scandinavian into the Caro Kann can.
