Jul-02-04  arifattar: Wasn't there a better move for black other than 57..Qa6.?

  tpstar: <arifattar> I don't believe so. 57 ... c2?? is out due to 58. Rb7+ Ka2 59. Ra7+ wins the Queen; here 58. Rg3+ Ka2 59. Ra3+! also works. Or 57 ... Qe1 58. Rg3 again, or 57 ... Kc2 58. Rg3 or even 58. Rc7. Black cannot prevent White from sacrificing the Rook for the Pc3, then the K&P endgame is an easy win. Nice game by Kasparov.
Jul-16-07  myteacher34: arifattar!
there was no way to win for black after 57.h8=Q.
Black played 57.Qa6 because he wanted to prevent 58.Rb7+
Mar-20-14  MrJafari: A long and instructive game.but I had some questions about Black's Knight loose!
Apr-22-15  WBP: 31. Qg3+...seems pretty effective...
Dec-23-20  hez: You know, whenever I look at this game I realise how much chess I don’t know🥺
