Dec-13-12  Shams: What's the finish?

Fusilli: <Shams> White will win the resulting king & pawn endgame. For example:

42. Ke4 Kd7 43.Kxf4 Kc6 44.Rb1 Rxb7 45.Rxb7 Kxb7 46.Ke4 Kc6 47.Kd4

Then it's a matter of time until the following position is reached:

where White wins with g6. Things would not be different if Black refrain from playing d5.

Dec-15-12  Shams: <Fusilli> Thanks, you made it look simple. Check is in the mail.
Apr-05-18  SChesshevsky: Wonder what black saw with 11...b5? Didn't seem to achieve any compensation.

perfidious: Black tried the same idea after interpolating 11....h6 12.Be3 in P M Kotsur vs E Iturrizaga, 2011, but also achieved little.
