Wijk aan Zee Hoogovens 1969

The 31st annual Hoogovens international chess tournament was held in Wijk aan Zee, The Netherlands in 1969. An assortment of grandmasters and masters competed in the prestigious invitational event. Among them, former world champion Mikhail Botvinnik, and former and current world candidates Pal Benko, Efim Geller, and Paul Keres. Botvinnik and Geller tied for first place each with 10/15.
