St Louis Summer Classic (Group A) (2018)

The 2018 Summer Chess Classic consisted of two 10-player round robins (GM groups A and B) played in St. Louis, Missouri, USA 15-23 May 2018. There was no rest day. Time control: 90 minutes for the first 40 moves, then 30 minutes for the remainder of the game, with 30 seconds increment per move starting from move 1. No draw offers were allowed before move 30. Vasif Durarbayli won the A group with 6/9 after winning both rapid tiebreak games vs Varuzhan Eduardovich Akobian.
