Tilburg Interpolis (1983)

The 7th Interpolis tournament was a Category XIV event (Elo average 2613). Twelve GMs including the world champion Karpov competed in the all-play-all format, from 1-6 pm without any evening session. Total prize fund 90,000 Dutch guilders, with 6,000 guilders to the tournament winner and in addition 1000 guilders for each won game. Chief arbiter Constant Orbaan was assisted by Geurt Gijssen.
