Kibitzer's Corner
May-19-07  tstavernman: According to Barden's online chess column ( in the Guardian of 2007May19: "Timman lost, but that night he had a dream in which his subconscious found a saving resource. How does Black escape?"

Timman later found the drawing line in a dream: 33... h5!! 34. g5 (Not 34. gxh5?? Nxh5+ 35. Kh3 Nf4+ 36. Kg4 Rg2#) 34... Nxe4+ 35. fxe4 Rg2+ 36. Kf3 Rf2+ 37. Ke3 Rf3+ with either a perpetual or stalemate if the rook is captured.

Jul-03-07  ahmadov: <tstavernman> I am a bit late to visit this page to post about the remarkable dream of Timman... I have read about this on the Guardian Weekly dated 1-7 June...
