Tabanus: I uploaded Game 9, but without exact date in March 1878.

<Pawn and Two> says that the book, "Mikhail Chigorin The First Russian Grandmaster", by Alexander Khalifman & Sergei Solovikov, provides a date for only Game 1 of this match, March 6, 1878, and that this book provides the game scores for all 10 games.

The games here are today dated as follows: 1 28/2, 2 28/2, 3 3/3, 4 5/3, 5 7/3, 6 9/3, 7 9/3, 8 21/3, and 10 26/3.

I'd like to know where these dates are from.

And now it's in. It placed itself as no. 3 on the list, because of no exact date.

When I did the original collection, I used <Quarterly for Chess History> #16, 2007, pg. 86-90. They give the dates as being from <Shakhmatnyj Listok>. The only difference is the following.

Game 1 (22/2)
Game 2 (26/2)
Game 9 (25/3)

WCH gave the dates of the match as February 28-March 26, clearly a typo.

Tabanus: <TheFocus> Thanks! I updated the dates and bracket dates.

I don't know what WCH is. Games 6 and 7 are on the same day, March 9 (a Thursday), which looks a little odd.

Typo. I meant QCH (Quarterly for Chess History).

<Games 6 and 7 are on the same day, March 9 (a Thursday), which looks a little odd.>

Let me double-check. That cannot be right.
