Introduction
Adolf Albin, of Vienna, and Eugene Delmar, of the Manhattan Chess Club, have agreed to play a match of five games up, at the Manhattan Chess Club as soon as the Hodges-Showalter match is decided. These players will compete in a "five games up" contest at the rate of three games a week, with a time-limit of twenty moves an hour. The members of the Manhattan Chess Club, who are subscribing for a purse for the contest, are looking forward to the match with considerable interest. (1)
