Bad Elster (1938)

The third of four successive tournaments which were held in the spa town of Bad Elster, Saxony, Germany from 1936-1939.

This took place from 26th May to 2nd June 1938. (1)

There is a rare tournament book, "Schachmeisterturnier Bad Elster 1938" with annotations in German by Prof. Albert Becker.

Efim Bogoljubov won the tournament.
