Chessgames.com Chess Event Description
Utrecht PAM (1961)

"This tournament was organised to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Utrecht chess club and was sponsored by oil company PAM. It took place in the dining hall of the Steenkolen-Handelsvereeniging NV in Utrecht. Orbaan led the tournament. O'Kelly, together with Euwe and Spanjaard, formed the appeals commission. The prizes were as follows: 1st prize, f. 500; 2nd prize, f. 400; 3rd prize, f. 300; 4th prize, f. 200; 5th prize, f. 100. The IM norm was 4 points, the GM norm was 6 for masters, 5½ for non-masters. So there was one IM norm for Langeweg. Strangely, chessbase and other sources give many more moves in Bisguier-Pérez, finishing with a black victory. However, the tournament bulletin mentions that white offered a draw after black's 13th move and that black accepted despite his superior position." (Nikolaas Verhulst, Belgian Chess History)
