Palma de Mallorca (1965)

The first Torneo Internacional de Palma de Mallorca took place in Hotel Jaime I in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, 15-23 (24) November 1965. There were no rest days. Bukic missed the airplane and played his first two rounds on 17th (Round 2, in the morning) and 24th November (Round 1). Rounds started at 4:30 pm. Tournament director: Bartholomé Torres (not counting Jorge Puig Laborda). Chief arbiter: Antonio Perelló.

Arturo Pomar Salamanca won on Sonneborn-Berger tiebreak score ahead of O'Kelly and Darga, all three with 6.5/9.
