European Club Cup (Women) (2014)

The 19th European Club Cup for Women was a 7-round Swiss team tournament played at the Euskalduna Congress Centre in Bilbao, Spain, 14-20 September 2014, with the participation of eight clubs from six countries, including defending champions Cercle d'Echecs de Monte-Carlo, which mustered Yifan Hou, Anna Muzychuk, Lagno, Cramling and Skripchenko. Of the 37 players, 9 were GMs and 12 IMs. Each match was played over four boards, with 2 points for a team win and 1 point for a draw. Time control: 90 minutes for 40 moves, then 30 more minutes till the end of the game, with 30 seconds added per move from move 1. Tournament director: Dirk de Ridder. Chief arbiter: Josu Mena.

Nona of Batumi, Georgia (Dzagnidze, Khotenashvili, Melia, Batsiashvili, Mikadze) won with 14/14, ahead of Cercle d'Echecs de Monte-Carlo with 10/14 and Russian SHSM Nashe Nasledie (Gunina, Kosteniuk, Girya, Kashlinskaya, Kovalevskaya) with 9/14.
