Seven rounds in 8 days, starting on Saturday 6 June. Rest day 9 June. Solin had to withdraw after Round 5 (26 games).

The Masters tournament was won by Nils Bergkvist, ahead of Bengt Ekenberg, Osmo Kaila and Kaarle Ojanen (=2nd). Bergkvist was awarded the title Nordic Master.

Andersen was still Nordic Champion. Lundin again had the right to challenge him, and this time he did.
