Mistakes in well known chess books:
MC014 Modern Chess Openings 14th edition by Nick DeFirmian- Page 401: Repeated move in Column 25. (4. <Bg5> Be7 5. <Bg5>)
The Reassess Your Chess Workbook by Jeremy Silman- Page 237: Ambiguity: Paragraph after the move 1. Nh1, Line 3 says "Though 1.Nd1, intending Ne3, was also good", but there are two Knights - on c3 and f2 - that can both go to d1.
Basic Endgame Strategy: Kings, Pawns and Minor Pieces by Bill Robertie- Page 113 says 12. B<d7>-c5 when in fact it is 12. B<d6>-c5. Page 127 on note to Black's 1st move says 2. Kh3-g2, but there is a Black King on f3 and 2. Kh3-g2 is illegal.
Basic Endgame Strategy No. 2: On front cover the title reads "Basic Endgame Strategy: Queens and Rooks", but on the inside front cover the title is "Basic Endgame Strategy: Rooks and Queens".
