Even though Black lost, he had many pieces swirling around White's King. Although this line may fail at the GM level it should be fine for most Alekhine players.      Nov-04-08 G Mahia vs B Larsen, 2008   ksadler: It is extremely interesting that Larsen opens his kingside as quickly as possible in every game. Perhaps he was forced to play in this and didn't want to? Doubtful that he'll get invited back. I'd recommend .. e6 here or even .. d5. The thing people have to remember about the fianchetto is that it is a long-term strategy. If the center is closed until about move 20 it is ok!
