Hello! My name is Jason Manley, and I am a player from New Brunswick, the sole bilingual province in Canada. I speak English and a decent amount of French. I first found myself on this site when I was a young player with a rating in the 1700's in the Chess Federation of Canada; now I'm an older, not especially wiser, and certainly more experienced player with a rating in the 2100's with the CFC and a FIDE rating just north of 2000. My specialty is getting into trouble out of the opening because I don't prepare well, then hoodwinking points out of players through a variety of creative and fortunate swindles. I'm also a Leafs fan, and I can tell that I'm a natural optimist because even after all these years, I still believe, against all evidence, that I'll one day see them lift the Stanley Cup.

number 23 NBer: <Penguincw> Someone should correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the pairings for this event were to be based off the pairings for Norway Chess, with colours reversed in each game (and So taking the place of Hammer). At least that's what I recall being mentioned after ...

number 23 NBer: <chessgames.com> I don't know if there is a way to submit some sort of mass correction slip, but all of these games are listed as CLASSICAL instead of BLITZ.
