king oliver: Steinitz says that Black should play 16. . . f6 "to which we hardly see any satisfactory answer." [Book of the Sixth American Chess Congress, p. 190.] However Fritz had no problem finding a "satisfactory answer" by replacing Steinitz' suggested follow up of 17.e4 with 17.ef.
