Hi, im Josh. I work in a powerplant. I play chess a little, and am fairly off and on. I am a 1600 USCF, but could be higher if I played and practised more. Probably I could become an expert. I love to play and love to learn.

foolishmovesss: I guess thats what I am saying Eric. I don't want it to be a main line really. I saw it somewhere called the dragondorf, basically a dragon with a6 of course. I believe I have seen it played my Nakumura. I could be wrong.

foolishmovesss: Does anyone here have any of the Nalimov tablebase software? How is it? Good learning tool or no? I have extreme problems studying the endgame, and am wondering if this is worth picking up as a learning tool. I have a program that lets you solve endgame puzzles, but I can ...

foolishmovesss: It must be very difficult for a person to play Karpov in a caro from the black side. The whole time you would have to know that he knew it better then you did. Brian is a senior master too, the playing strenght of Karpov is just incredible. For me he is the best there has ...

foolishmovesss: Thanks for the advice guys. <poisonpawns> I have played the Dutch before, and tend to agree with you about playing main lines. Anti Dutch systems seem to be around every corner. Good thing for me I shouldnt have to play it to often. Only gonna use it against c4 and ...

foolishmovesss: e5 has never given me problems. As bartleby said c5 is a strong set up for black getting into good french positions. The main problem for white comes when black starts attacking the over extended center. moves like f6 will cause white trouble down the road. I seem to usually ...

foolishmovesss: got this seeing that I got the two minors for rook. However I was trying to find a way after winning the bishop to fork the rooks with my bishop. O well to minors for a rook is good enough.

foolishmovesss: E Delmar vs Lasker, 1901 Now here is a good plan for black against the stonewall attack. Good old Lasker. This is not a plan I have ever even considered.
