emayev: CG should do this more often to keep us honest :)

   Dec-17-08 J L Hammer vs Carlsen, 2003 (replies)

emayev: Hammer to fall is a good one :) Joel Benjamin suggests "Shakh Mama" for Shakhriyar Mamedyarov.. (as opposed to Shaq Daddy)

Dec-04-08 Benko vs Keres, 1963 (replies)

emayev: too obvious and forcing to deserve comment :)

   Nov-25-08 Dresden Olympiad (2008) (replies)

emayev: madly, i'm not sure if you're being sarcastic when you say that the us had a tough road... but everyone plays a few weak teams like hongkong. They also had to play Azerbaijan (4), Russia(1), Ukraine(2), Hungary(5), and some other very strong teams. To go 8-1-2 is very impressive, ...

   Nov-24-08 S M Shyam vs Sengupta, 2008 (replies)

emayev: nice swindle try on the last move

   Nov-24-08 Tukmakov vs D Norwood, 1990 (replies)

emayev: I thought it was harder than the average monday because there wasn't a queen sac :)

   Nov-21-08 J Kotainy vs V Kovalev, 2008

emayev: Completely textbook play against the isolated pawn. He attacks it with all 5 of his peices, tying down all 5 of whites peices to defence. Then he hits it with a pawn that can't be taken due to the pin. That's 6 against 5, and he wins the pawn and the game.

   Nov-21-08 Ftacnik vs B Zueger, 1984 (replies)

emayev: wow.. a tripple peice sac to win. nice

   Nov-20-08 D Prelevic vs G Topic, 2001 (replies)

emayev: wow... wild game. Impressive attacking play by black, and I like the pawn sac to open up the dark-squared bishop.

   Nov-20-08 Sadvakasov vs S Tatai, 1999 (replies)

emayev: 19.. g6 seems to be a bad move, but 19.. h6 actually loses the queen to 20 Bg6, so perhaps the game is already lost before move 19
