   Aug-20-16 P Bersamina vs Xiong, 2016 (replies)

davegras: Would 58. Nxf5 be better?

Jun-01-16 Harikrishna vs Eljanov, 2016 (replies)

davegras: Couldn't 35...Rb1+, followed by d2 at least get a draw?

Aug-12-12 Nakamura vs McShane, 2012 (replies)

davegras: 23....Qxb3+ 24. axb3 Bxe5 I don't have an engine but after this it seems black has the advantage.

   Aug-10-12 Yermolinsky vs J Fang, 1994

davegras: Thanks to those who came through and confirmed white could've won this game. Thanks to everyone for your input.

   Sep-26-11 R Nezhmetdinov vs O Chernikov, 1962 (replies)

davegras: My all-time favorite game.

   Sep-25-11 D Baretic vs Pirc, 1968 (replies)

davegras: Can someone pleae explain why white didn't play 15. g3 or later 19.Kbe? Thanks.

   Aug-15-11 R Hovhannisyan vs Robson, 2011 (replies)

davegras: What about 32...g5? Let the bishop be taken. Black can advance the pawn with the King's help, if necessary. White would queen but black would queen first and perhaps make a game of it. I don't have an engine so please tell me if I am wrong.

   Aug-08-11 Shimanov vs Z Tomazini, 2011 (replies)

davegras: I think 51. ...Re2 looks better. Seems to win the pawm and opens up the a-file for the advancing pawn.

   Nov-16-10 I Zalys vs A Lesiege, 1986 (replies)

davegras: Because its difficult for most of us to see the win, I wonder why black didn't continue a little further against a 2000 player. Just wondering.

   Sep-12-10 K Cyboran vs A Skrzypczak, 2010

davegras: 20...Bh1 looks interesting.
