I am an amateur. I live in Hyderabad, India; a software engineer by profession. I learned chess as a kid but took interest in the game only recently. I am now weighed down by 26 years of earthly belonging! In life I am passionate about myself, music, pencil sketching, writing poetry(I call whatever I write as poems, but I don't know what people exactly call them), playing various sports and games like cricket, table tennis, chess, carrom and badminton, not necessarily in that order. My passion to indulge is always strengthened by my striving to excel anywhere and everywhere.
In chess I respect many players like Capablanca, Lasker, Alekhine, Botvinnik, Karpov and Anand; I admire Morphy, Tal, Fischer and Kasparov.
Here's some chess literature from me :)
Scholar's mate
My King's pawn to the frontier
And you do the same
To gain control over the center
Is the opening game
Then I move my King's Bishop
To attack your weakest pawn
But you bring your Knight up
To protect your center pawn
Your being a novice makes me play
My own Queen to the third rank
Mate in one on its way
Stop it now and you can
You did not see the threat
Hence you move your Rook pawn
On my win now I bet
The scholar's mate on f seven
