Jan-15-17 Carlsen vs Wojtaszek, 2017 (replies)

Siksika: The Norwegian wins another.

Nov-22-13 Anand - Carlsen World Championship Match (2013) (replies)

Siksika: Carlsen was under no obligation to put his dream of WC at risk by playing flashy chess. He secured the title by accurate play and accurate management. Having the capacity to accomplish this and the maturity to see it through is why Magnus is WC. I hate to break it to the poo-poo'ers

Feb-16-12 Bronstein vs Browne, 1990 (replies)

Siksika: I agree with archswindler, Ulhumbrus' "analysis" displayed here is rather just a rambling move by move commentary. In truth its tedious simply because there's no value in it. If you want an authoritative commentary on attacking chess read Vladimir Vukovic's classic.

Feb-12-12 Bronstein vs Ljubojevic, 1973 (replies)

Siksika: Fantastic! This game defines why I love chess.

   Feb-03-12 D Howell vs G Gislason, 2012 (replies)

Siksika: Great game, great pun.

Feb-02-12 Kramnik vs Carlsen, 2008 (replies)

Siksika: <Bobwhoosta> I believe that it was Pjalle who said <Lazy people tend to justify their own mediocrity by blaming bad genes or lack of 'talent' but behind every 'genius' lies years and sometimes decades of hard focused work.> Not twoinchgroup. He just agreed. But, wait a

Siksika: I agree with dangerhump. I recall recent comments by such luminaries as Yermolinski lamenting over Anand's apparent exhaustion and lack of interest in playing at the end of 2011. I just hope there will be a single game of note played by these two worn-down, disinterested gladiators.

Jan-18-12 Cipev vs Ftacnik, 1973 (replies)

Siksika: Ok...after trying a myriad of lines I gave up and checked the game continuation...it took at least 30 more seconds of confused searching to understand that a bishop sits on a8 and not a rook! Ugh...

Jan-17-12 Carlsen vs Nakamura, 2011 (replies)

Siksika: Top 5 pun of all time.

   Jan-15-12 Duras vs Z Barasz, 1912 (replies)

Siksika: Isn't it crazy how sometimes it just clicks? I had this position solved in literally less than a minute...However, Tuesdays puzzle stumped me completely. Go figure cuz I can't.
