Shah Mat: <hehateme> i know far more women with BSc Chem. or Biology than men. In fact, the ratio of working scientists in those fields i am personally or professionally acquainted with is ~10:1. if you consider psychology a science, that ratio goes up. but i meet mostly field workers.

Shah Mat: i've found that before i even try to solve the puzzle, i look at the whole board, where all the pieces are because if i don't i miss some bishop off on h3 or something that screws up the whole combination. but once i saw the position the king was in, the queen sac on c1 jumped out ...
