Jun-08-09 C Pilnick vs H Seidman, 1954
Sabinas: Ahh, finally one I got right quick, Bxh3. It is odd that this was a game between GM's. I guess everyone makes mistakes. |

May-06-09 Saemisch vs F Krautheim, 1946
Sabinas: I got stuck on the two star status of the puzzle; I figured it had to be relatively forced and straightforward so I to went with Nf6+ right off the bat. 16. Qf6 is a pretty sweet move worth a "!", and maybe a third star at least! |

May-05-09 Z Peng vs A van Weersel, 2005
Sabinas: One thing that stuck out in this game is how in love with her knights Van Weersel was: nearly half of her moves up to move 25 were knight moves. At one point she moved her knight 4 times in a row simply to exchange it for a bishop that was not commanding that much influence. Peng on |

May-05-09 D Riley vs F Parr, 1949
Sabinas: Nice...I jumped on the opening move (Bxf2) quick but it took me a moment to find the follow-up Qa1+ that made it worth while. I wonder when Parr saw it...could it possibly be before move 17? |

May-04-09 Svidler vs Topalov, 2004
Sabinas: Wow, I must be old school, I have to agree the idea of exchanging rooks for bishops appears extreme. Is this new chess wisdom? It would be interesting to see what a Capablanca or a Botvinnik would have done in such a situation. |

May-04-09 de Firmian vs R Byrne, 1994
Sabinas: Hi guys, first time post! Hope to, uh, kibitz, more often in the future. It took me about 3 seconds to see the right move, one, because I am rusty hehe and two, I wouldn't expect highly rated players to make such a gaff! I'm assuming they are highly rated players, like 2000 or so?
