Rovieira: Vera was born in Russia though her father was british and her mother czech . I had no idea how strong she was untill I found out about her games with Capablanca and Rubinstein . What a great woman , what a tragic end .

Rovieira: Fischer faced the whole soviet union team and won back in '72 . That was extraordinary . But as Mequinho (Mecking for you ) he wasn't mentally prepared to remain in the game . He was like a shooting star . More like Paul Morphy then Aleckine , Karpov or Korchnoy .To be considered ...

Rovieira: That's why Capablanca had a hard time facing him . He was probably afraid of being sent to a Gulag . And after all Aleckine never gave him a chance to regain his title . Yeah Judit looks much better !
