Dec-12-15 Nunn vs Tal, 1982 (replies)

Funology: so you submitted it, right?

   Aug-14-15 M Magomedov vs J Isaev, 1997 (replies)

Funology: I saw all the way up to Bxh6+, but then missed Qg5+ if Kxh6 (maybe a case of a phantom h6 pawn).

   Aug-10-15 D Moody vs L L Smith, 1982 (replies)

Funology: PB, has anyone ever told you that you look a lot like poker guru David Sklansky?

   Jul-11-15 R Slobodjan vs I Stohl, 1993 (replies)

Funology: My line was similar to agb's - is 1. ...Rxe2 an alternative solution?

   May-17-15 Sutovsky vs R Bates, 2013 (replies)

Funology: Fantastic pun and exciting game

   May-01-15 K Spraggett vs M Campbell, 1974 (replies)

Funology: IMO if you didn't see ...Qd4+ and ...Rb5 and how White should meet it, you only solved half the puzzle. Seeing the Qxf7 mating idea is just the beginning. I saw up to ...Qg7 but then went with Rh1+, missing the Qe8+ and Rh4 idea.

   Apr-30-15 J Sajtar vs Kavalek, 1965 (replies)

Funology: He can write normal English when he wants to (I've seen at least one perfectly coherent post from several years ago) but for some reason rambles in his peculiar Joycean dialect. I have seen the hypothesis advanced that he doesn't speak English and so has to Google Translate from ...

   Apr-27-15 Broncept vs Dzindzichashvili, 1995

Funology: It's an internet game, probably bullet or blitz, and Black likely ran White out of time in a drawn position.

   Apr-01-15 M Romi vs C Staldi, 1954 (replies)

Funology: Argh! I got completely sucked in by this April Fool's prank!

   Mar-27-15 L Gutman vs M Schurade, 2004 (replies)

Funology: You're right, JRH - maybe it was a loss on time? Stockfish suggests ...d2 instead but only gives Black a slight advantage.
