Nov-22-13 Carlsen vs Anand, 2013 (replies)

Fiberking: I would crush Mike Tyson. In chess.

Nov-21-13 Anand vs Carlsen, 2013 (replies)

Fiberking: Nicely double edged. White has the bishops and is grabbing space by pushing pawns on the king side and soon possibly in the center as well. However, as soon as he leaves an opening, his monarch could be in trouble.

Fiberking: <jtd200> LOL

Fiberking: I think Carlsen wants to exchange his bishop for the Knight on e7.

Fiberking: <ajile: I really miss having Nigel Short doing commentary.> Me too! Short is insightful, clear, and funny.

Jun-22-13 Gelfand vs Mamedyarov, 2013 (replies)

Fiberking: I would pick white here. Black's position is not optimal yet (rooks not doubled, bishop on e8). Gives white a slight edge.

Jun-21-13 Nakamura vs Gelfand, 2013 (replies)

Fiberking: <vmrani> Especially in Kramnik's case it seems premature to chalk up a bad performance here to old age. He very nearly won the Candidates in London, just some months ago.

Jun-19-13 Morozevich vs Karjakin, 2013 (replies)

Fiberking: <technical draw> thank you

Jun-15-13 Carlsen vs Caruana, 2013 (replies)

Fiberking: Peter Svidler says it's a dead draw. Or maybe he didn't. I don't speak Russian.

Mar-28-13 Svidler vs Aronian, 2013 (replies)

Fiberking: <boz: took a deep combination by Kramnik> You are certainly right about that.
