   Nov-25-20 N Kasimov vs Dzindzichashvili, 1978

Cannon Fodder: Congratulations to Kasimov. Excellent game and instructive endgame play.

   Oct-03-13 G Garcia vs K Darga, 1963 (replies)

Cannon Fodder: Good puzzle. I missed it because I failed to look beyond 37...Kd7 and see that the a pawn and the e pawn prevent the king's escape.

Sep-18-13 Anand vs F Izeta Txabarri, 1993 (replies)

Cannon Fodder: Glad I'm not the only one who missed it.

   Aug-31-13 Tal vs Short, 1987

Cannon Fodder: Tal was on a higher level. I like listening to Marvin Gaye and George Strait when I play through these games.

Cannon Fodder: And I thought ...Na6 was a modern move.

Feb-02-10 Dominguez Perez vs Morozevich, 2009 (replies)

Cannon Fodder: Hardest Tuesday I've seen in a while. I went straight for 35 Rb8+.

   Jun-08-07 E Mnatsakanian vs J Banas, 1979 (replies)

Cannon Fodder: This puzzle reminds me of many games I have lost by saying to myself, "Well, my position is a pin cushion, but I don't think I need to get out of the pins quite yet since my opponent can't checkmate me or win material right away." Meanwhile, my opponent keeps me pinned and ...

   May-21-07 Francois Philidor (replies)

Cannon Fodder: According to CG's bio of George Atwood, 47 of Philidor's games were published in the 1820's from notation taken by Atwood. Do any of the chess historians out there know where these games can be found?

May-01-07 Teichmann vs NN, 1914 (replies)

Cannon Fodder: When will people learn to stopping accepting wooden horses as gifts?
