ROBERT GOODBODY

Robert Goodbody of the New York Stock Exchange, died at his home, Haledon, N.J., yesterday. He was born in Clara, Kings County, Ireland, in 1850, and came to New York in 1885, forming the firm of Goodbody, Glyn & Dow. In 1891, when he joined the Stock Exchange, he formed the firm of Robert Goodbody & Co. He was married three times and lost two wives by death. The third, Margaret J. Pim, survives him. He also leaves ten children. He was a member of the Society of Friends. His grandfather James Perry, was instrumental in building the second railway in the world. (1)
