Penguincw: Pretend the date on this post in May 27th:

Congrats to Ali A Elmejbri (1841) for upsetting 8th seed FM Ahmed Abdulsattar Abdulwahhab (2346) in the 1st round of the Arab Elite Championship. Abdulwahhab was the highest seed not to win their 1st round game.

Tomorrow, Elmejbri has black against GM Mohamed Haddouche (2492).

Penguincw: And pretend the date on this post is June 3rd:

Anyway, after that upset, he lost 3 in a row, followed by 2 draws, and 3 more losses to finish with 2/9. :| However, he is only the 16th seed in a 16-player tournament, and was rated 1841; he had a modest gain of 9.8 points.

I have no idea. However, R9 games can be found here (just go back from there): https://chess24.com/en/watch/live-t.... They can also be found here: http://www.chessdom.com/3rd-arab-el....

I'm not sure if there are any games here, but results and all can be found here (I used this site): http://chess-results.com/tnr175001.....
